Featured Commonwealth of Learning and RADA Collaboration Agribusiness Management Online Pilot Course

An agreement was signed between the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) and the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) to provide support under the Lifelong Learning for Farmers (L3F) Initiative to: Strengthen the learning of Extension Officers of RADA - eLearning via Virtual University for Small States of the Commonwealth (VUSSC).

 The main activity under this component is to train 20 Extension Officers in an online Agribusiness Management Pilot Course. The course will be delivered ONLY online for 3 hours for 12 weeks, and will be guided by the facilitator via web conferencing.

A one day workshop outlining course content and requirements took place on Monday, January 24, 2017   at Mona School of Business, University of the West Indies and coordinated by COL Liason, Mr. Hartnell Campbell.  Participants were given the opportunity to gain insights into this new initiative and interacted with Facilitator in preparation for the Pilot Programme.
