Featured Commendation to beneficiaries - Jamaica 4-H Clubs - RYEEP

Ninety six (96) youths were beneficiaries of the Rural Youth Economic Empowerment Programme (RYEEP). This is a collaborative initiative between the Jamaica 4-H Clubs, National Youth Service and the Development Bank of Jamaica aimed at providing rural underserved youths with the opportunity to start agricultural based businesses.

At the Closing Out Ceremony of the RYEEP Programme held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Jamaica 4-H Office Denbigh, Clarendon, Mr. Peter Thompson, RADA's Chief Executive Officer extended the Authority's availability to provide continued extension training services to the beneficiaries on an ongoing basis as an effective tool in increasing productivity. He also urged the participants to continue to strive towards attaining knowledge and practically utilizing this as one of the main foundations to grow their businesses.
