Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will provide educational/extension opportunities for farmers and the public through the regular publication and advertisement of a newsletter, schedules of training and field days, seminars and other events and activities. S/he will also promote the image of the Authority as a creative, progressive and essential organization which continues to make a valuable contribution to the growth and development of Jamaican agriculture.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Senior Secretary is responsible for providing secretarial and stenographic services to facilitate the efficient and effective operation of the Division

Under the direct supervision of the Director, Communication & Public Relations, the Public Relations Officer assists in developing and executing RADA’s Communication Policy and Annual Public Relations Programme. The post plays a key role in ensuring clear, timely, and accurate dissemination of information to internal and external stakeholders while promoting the Authority’s programmes, sector achievements, and contributions to national agricultural development.

Under the general direction of the Director 3, Public Procurement (GMG/SEG 3), the Public Procurement Officer (GMG/AM 3) assists in the execution of procurement processes required for the acquisition of goods, services, and works in accordance with the Government of Jamaica’s procurement guidelines and policies. The Officer supports the preparation and management of procurement documents and contributes to ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance throughout the procurement cycle.
