ON FOR BIDS (IFB)
The Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) now invites Bids from eligible and qualified bidders to undertake the rehabilitation of farm roads in various parishes for this financial year. Two (2) such packages are:
Package 1: St. Andrew [Halls Delight Road]
Package 2: St. Elizabeth [Little Park to Beacon Road]
*(Bidders may choose to bid on one (1) or more lots)
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Contractor(s) will be required to undertake the rehabilitation of farm roads inclusive of but not limited to asphaltic double surface treatment, drainage improvement (culverts, kerb and channel), asphaltic concrete cross drains, surfacing and brushing of road ways.
ELIGIBILITY FOR TENDER:
National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procurement Method will be used and bidders must submit the following along with their bid:
- Completed and signed Form of Bid (in the prescribed format).
- A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate in the category of General Road Works - Grades 1-2 or Road Maintenance Work – Grade 1 (See http://www.ppc.gov.jm/ppc/),
- A valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
- Bid Security of $41,730.00

AVAILABILITY OF TENDER DOCUMENT:
- Bidding documents will be available for download as at Monday, September 09, 2024 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website (www.gojep.gov.jm). Interested Contractors must first visit the website and register to participate.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:
- Bids must be submitted online via (www.gojep.gov.jm) on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Late bids will be automatically rejected.
- Online opening of Bids will follow at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024.
