The Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Mining (MOAF&M) and is Jamaica’s chief agricultural extension advisory and rural development agency. It is national in scope and its mandate is executed through the strategic deployment of its cadre of managerial, technical and support personnel across its island -wide network of service centres in order to bring the service closer to the farming community.

    Under the supervision of the Business Development Officer, the incumbent is responsible for facilitating entrepreneurship and offering business development support to members of the MSME sector by providing business interventions, consultation, hand-holding, project monitoring, and assisting in the coordination of training sessions.

  • Public Procurement Officer (GMG/AM4) – Project – Head Office

    Under the direction of the Director - Public Procurement, the incumbent is to assist in the procurement processes required for the acquisition of goods and services essential for the operations.

  • Driver/ Messenger (LMO/DR 2) – Head Office

    Under the supervision of the Manager – Office Services, the incumbent undertakes transportation assignments as well as conducts routine checks to ensure that the vehicle assigned is in good working condition.

    Under the direction of the Director - Public Procurement, the Inventory Officer supports the Procurement Unit by receiving, recording, storing and securing goods and delivering same to the appropriate officers or their approved agents and securing signed acknowledgement as receipt thereof.
